DIY Nugget Bouquet

This Valentine’s Day, we’re saying ‘I love you’ with something much more satisfying than flowers. Assemble this DIY nugget bouquet to give to your significant other.

INGREDIENTS and UTENSILS:

12-15 nuggets of your choice

12-15 medium length skewers

White wrapping paper

1 sheet red cellophane

1m string

Ribbon of your choice (we chose pink)

6 baby cos lettuce leaves

Big Mac Sauce:

1 tbsp mayo

1 tsp tomato sauce

1 tsp mustard

1 tsp burger spice/seasoning

1 tbsp chopped pickles

2 tbsp pickle juice

STEPS:

1. Cook nuggets to packet instructions
2. Meanwhile, mix together the big mac sauce ingredients
3. Once the nuggets are cooked, place them on the end of each skewer
4. Assemble the nuggets in a swirl around the skewers, allowing the nuggets to fan out like a bouquet. Tie tightly with half the string
5. Fold a 60cm x 60cm square of white paper in half and cut down the bottom where the skewers will sit
6. Fold the cellophane and place ontop of the white paper, followed by the nuggets
7. Wrap the paper and cellophane around the front of the skewers and secure tightly with string
8. Use the ribbon to decorate in a bow around the string
9. Fill with baby cos to cover the skewers
10. Give to your Valentine and serve with the Big Mac Sauce!
