We're replacing our escalators to keep you moving safely and comfortably. While we work, there will be some temporary changes, but our team is here to help you every step of the way.
ESCALATOR REPLACEMENT
We're installing brand new escalators to provide you with a better, safer experience for years to come.
Timeline:
- Starting: Mid-February 2025
- Completing: Late May 2025
- Duration: Approximately 3 months
What To Expect
Phase 1: Building temporary stairs (mid-February)
- We'll construct temporary stairs for you to use during the escalator replacement
Phase 2: Escalator replacement (late February onwards)
- While work is underway, please use our purpose-built temporary stairs, or alternative escalators and lifts located in Myer or near the Secret Garden playground

Our Atrium Is Getting a Makeover
We're carrying out improvement works in our Atrium as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping Charlestown Square looking its best.
