Over the past 25 years, the Woolworths name has become synonymous with fresh food. Not only because of our catchy 1987 'Fresh Food People' advertising campaign, but thanks to our strong partnerships with Aussie farmers who have been consistently bringing our customers the best Australian produce for generations.

In fact, it's because of such partnerships we can proudly say that 100% of our fresh meat and poultry and 96% of our fresh fruit and veg is Australian grown. Over the decades, Woolworths has also provided customers with an extensive amount of fresh food ideas, seasonal tips and fresh market updates.
 
Fresh food is our business, and we've made it our mission to work with the very best farmers and growers in Australia to ensure that everything on our shelves, is top shelf. Because at the end of the day, if our customers experience the best when they eat our food, they're more likely to buy it again.

Our customers are our number one priority, so we take our lead from them - continually changing to meet their requirements. Woolworths has changed a lot since 1924 when we opened our first store in Pitt Street, Sydney. However, there's one thing that will never change: we'll always work hard to make our customers happy by providing them with nothing but the best of fresh food.
