Diggitis Espresso

A local experienced boutique coffee operator, Shane and his family team have a strong focus on coffee and sweet treats.  They are passionate about coffee, and with the history of owning many coffee shops across the region they will bring a wealth of experience to the newest coffee offer on the Ground Floor. 

Donarch Fine Chocolates

Donna and her son Paul are the team behind Donarch Fine Chocolates. They are an award winning boutique chocolate maker with a focus on quality and perfection. Many years ago Donna had tried a raspberry chocolate that featured real raspberry; not being able to find a similar chocolate for many years after she decided to make her own. The success and acclaim that their Raspberry Heart achieved in such a short time would become the foundation of their story. Their chocolates are hand made with the finest chocolate from France and Belgium. 

Goose on the Loose

Goose on the Loose was born out of our passion for smallgoods, equally fuelled by dismay of mass-produced supermarket ‘substitutes’. Anthea and her team spend a considerable amount of time developing their own range of Salami as well as sampling their way through the best small goods produced in Australia. Goose on the Loose only work with the finest ingredients when making Salami. Once you try the range, Anthea can guarantee you’ll love it as much as they do. She hasn’t met anyone yet that could resist their Salami.

Fat Wren Farm 

In 2009 Mel decided it would be a great idea to do a "farm-made" Christmas hamper for all of the extended family using the excess farm grown produce from their farm in the Hunter region. Recipes were researched, canning techniques studied, jars were bought and the shenanigans commenced! That first hamper included a tomato relish, strawberry jam, farmhouse pickle and a vanilla syrup preserved jar of cherries. It was the beginning of a great love affair with preserving. 

Gourmet Dog Barkery 

Lisa was inspired by her own dog, Samson to create healthy, handmade treats to cater for every type of dog.  At the time there was a lack of preservative free, healthy treats available. She has been in business in Newcastle for over 9 years, and is excited to provide a product for the furry member of your family. 

My Souk Drawer

Chris, a Novocastrian, found his love of spices later in life. For anyone who’s been there, the word souk (or souq) conjures up scenes of dusty alleyways spilling over with goods and provisions whose variety defies description. My Souk Drawer is about creating a new and innovative retail space that captures all the senses. My Souk Drawer provides the most original and freshest specialist range of dried herbs, individual spices, culinary ingredients and spice blends available in the Hunter where the consumer can buy exactly the amount they need.
