Lenses & Brushes Art Exhibition
As part of National Reconciliation Week, The Place is proud to host a unique Art Exhibition titled, Lenses & Brushes, on Friday, 1 June from 3pm to 4:30pm. The free event will showcase an artistic collaboration between Aboriginal Artist, Maree Bisby and Newcastle Photographer, Stephen Carter and celebrates some of the Hunter region’s most beautiful and iconic locations.

Twelve artworks, six from each artist, will be on display and there will be a screening and discussion about a local perspective on the role of art in reconciliation as well as the artists’ inspiration in creating the artworks.
