If there's ever a time to indulge in your favourite foods it’s Easter! Check out our inspiration to get your through the Easter long weekend, including our favourite seafood dishes for Good Friday, fun Easter themed kids meals, brekky ideas, and sweet treats that the whole family can enjoy.

GOOD FRIDAY

SMOKED SALMON COCKTAILS
A refreshing alternative to the classic Prawn Cocktail. To make these easy and impressive individual appetisers, simply layer smoked salmon, creamed cheese, cucumber and capsicum in a glass and garnish with parsley or dill.

PRAWN FETTUCCINE
Why not create a delicious Italian inspired seafood pasta dish for lunch or dinner this Good Friday, with prawns, fettuccine, and a tasty creamy sauce.

EASTER BREKKY

THE ULTIMATE BREKKY FEAST
Create a grazing platter or a feasting table with all of your Easter brekky favourites. Hot Cross Buns (of course!), smoked salmon with cream cheese on mini toast, boiled eggs, cold deli meats, fresh croissants, a seasonal fruit platter, serve with orange juice, tea and coffee.

BUNNY PANCAKES
Delight the family on Easter morning with these fun Bunny pancakes. Cook a batch of round pancakes and use bananas for bunny ears, pretzel sticks for whiskers, and create the eyes, nose and mouth using lollies, fruit, cream or icing.

KIDS MEALS

KIDS EASTER FEAST
Create a delicious Easter themed spread for your little ones. Fluffy Sheep sandwiches – try these with jam in the middle and cream and marshmallows on top. Carrot shaped open sandwiches, with grated carrot and cucumber. Create beautiful boiled eggs by slicing in half and topping them with colourful veges, or add food dye to some mayonnaise and decorate. The kids will love it!

BUNNY TATERS
For the cutest potatoes your kids have ever seen, score and roast your taters, then decorate your with sage leaves for ears, currents for eyes, and carrots for the bunny nose and scatter some more for a bunny snack on the plate.

FAMILY SWEET TREATS

S'MORES DIP
For an indulgent chocolatey treat the whole family can enjoy together this Easter, S'mores Dip is a must try! Melt some chocolate and pour into an oven safe dish, cover the melted chocolate with marshmellow and heat in the oven til the marshmellows brown on top, then grab some biscuits and strawberries and dip away!

HOW DO YOU FONDU?
Gather the kids for some old school fondu fun! For the best results track down a fondu set with a small candle to keep the chocolate melted, but if you don’t have one you can melt the chocolate on the stove and serve in a bowl. Prepare a selection of fruit, crackers and marshmallows and enjoy with friends or family.
