The freshest makeup looks for summer

Summer is all about beautiful (fake) tanned skin, glossed lips and of course the ‘natural looking’ makeup look… but let’s not forget the transition of the bold lip, cat eye and the perfect brow.

There is definitely a look for everyone when it comes to getting ready for the festive season.

When it’s time to show off some skin, let’s not cover it up with a heavy makeup. Try opting for a lighter texture in a liquid foundation, or a bronzer to create that effortless look. Adding an illuminator is the perfect addition for the glowing effect. Team it back with a natural toned lipstick or gloss and you have the perfect summer day look.

If you’re opting for a bolder look, then wearing saturated bright colours will create a fresh on-trend look.

This season, we can’t get enough of the popping bold hues of pink and glossy textures. Infuse your pink lips with a glitter gloss to create plenty of sparkle.

If pinks are not your thing, have fun with the new season’s vibrant orange hues.

All about nails…

We’re definitely seeing the return of neutral and pale pink tones for summer, as well as a bold white. These shades work with most skin tones and complement any outfit.

Want something bolder? Opting for a classic red is one of the most asked-for colours of the festive season. Red nail polish is fun, yet sophisticated. Wear your red polish on a shorter nail for a more elegant yet modern look.

If you want something a little more daring and fun, then your bright colours such as yellow and hot pinks are the go!
