Charlestown Square is proud to be sponsoring the Live Life Get Active program to provide FREE exercise classes for our customers five times per week!
 
We're partnering with Live Life Get Active to build a fitter, healthier and brighter Australia whilst having a great time along the way.
 
So many Australians are either overweight or obese, and with this condition comes many other related issues such as diabetes, heart disease, hip and knee problems, back pain and depression.
 
Unfortunately, so many of us stay sedentary for the majority of the day, either at work or when we get home. We work long hours and we travel long distances to get to and from work. Many people relax by sitting in front of one of many different screens, which does not do our health any favours. Have you heard the saying 'Sitting is the new smoking?' Sitting for extended periods is bad for our health, and we need to change this.
 
We need to live more healthy lives, and that is where Live Life Get Active plays a crucial role!
 
We've partnered with Live Life Get Active to run complimentary fitness classes for our local community five times a week, for 40 weeks. There are fabulous classes to choose from, including cross training, boxing and yoga.

FAQs

How many classes are there?
Classes run 5 times per week (Monday – Friday) for 40 weeks. Take advantage of this fantastic free fitness program and improve your health while having fun!
 
Do I need to book for the class?
Yes. Bookings are essential. Just register yourself for free and then book your class online.

Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! Babies and kids are welcome. While classes are only for people aged 18 and older, it’s ok to bring your toddler or young child as long as you remain responsible for them and there is no disruption to the session for other members.
 
What happens if it rains?
Classes run rain, hail or shine! 
 
What do I need to bring?
We recommend you always take sunscreen, a water bottle, a towel and a hat. All participants need to be wearing a shirt and running shoes. If you suffer from asthma, you should bring your asthma puffer.

Do I have to pay a joining fee or commit in any way?
No. There are no costs involved, as we are proud to be sponsoring these classes to benefit our customers. Once you register as a user, then you can book in for individual classes online for when it suits your schedule.
 
What level are these classes?
The classes are relevant to all fitness levels as you can work at your own pace.
